Service Description
These 1 hour sessions aim to target 1 or 2 main areas of concern or a total body "flush" to improve circulation for effective recovery. A combination of medium to firm pressure is normally used as well as any other techniques that might help, including cupping, Rockblades®, heat and myo-fascial stretching techniques. It all depends on your current issue and responsiveness to each technique. A lot of feedback is always welcome in these sessions as your therapist will constantly be checking in to get the best result. It is recommended that this type of session be used on a semi-regular basis if you want to notice a change in your body (e.g. weekly or fortnightly). A routine massage can be very beneficial for arthritis, joint pain, muscle soreness, headaches, poor posture, overall tension and from performing at a high level of sport. Circulation is key in repairing the bodies tissue, not only for performance but also to stay healthy. Your muscles play a huge role in keeping balance in the body (homeostasis) and as a result can take some pressure off the immune system. If you have reoccurring issues then a remedial massage can help alleviate some of the stress in your body.
